Considered the most "roman" area of the city, Trastevere is the neighbourhood with the most colorful dialect, the most cheerful and open inhabitants, the most welcoming squares with many artisans workshops and up until not long ago, the inhabitants of the neighbourhood would chat in the streets of an evening, with flower pots on the windowsills and washing hung from the windows.
Now, Trastevere has kept the outside appearance of the past, the businesses have grown and also changed a bit, there are fashionable nightspots, internet points and bars but the colors have remained the same and sound of footsteps in the street continue to enchant us.
Trastevere is rich in history and art. Visiting this area is enjoyable.
